Session details...Sessions are by appointment only. Your fees are due in full prior to your scheduled date. Before we spend time together I ask that each of my clients provide me with some personal information. This allows me to create an exprience that reflects who you are using themes and props, locations and other creative goodies. This is what excites me the most! I try to be inconsistent, sometimes spontaneous, making sure that no two sessions are alike. Your session is all about YOU! My goal is that my clients are more aware of eachother and not so much aware of me. This means that I don't do much posing. I aim to capture images that the clients will be able to recognize themselves in and images that tell their own story. Have a question or ideas about using certain props or sentimental items in your portraits? Let's chat about it!
What to wear...Consider what “look” you are going for & the location of your session. Whether you want an urban, city vibe or a traditional look wearing your Sunday best, clothing choice is a very important factor for the success of your photo shoot. You do not have to match! Be creative with colors & accessories but stick with coordinating solid colors & patterns. Think about the colors in your home that you are drawn to & use those for inspiration since your photos will soon adorn the walls of your home. Avoid clothing that has writing, characters or logos that can be distracting. It is a good idea to avoid white as well as it tends to not photograph well.
